I'm game

Defective Yeti's Matthew Baldwin has a list of 2004's best gift games over at The Morning News. I'm not a huge gaming fan, but a few years ago some friends of mine turned me on to The Settlers of Catan, one the most obnoxiously addictive, fun board games I've ever played. I know it sounds dorky, but I've seen people who hate games get geeked out over it.

Anyway, I'm sort of ready to try a new game and a few of the games on Baldwin's list -- Ticket to Ride, Memoir '44, Hansa, San Juan -- look really fun.
